and CTFs. I also like building random things when an idea grabs me, whether or
not it turns into anything useful :-)

What I’m into

Security and CTFs: I’ll be posting writeups here as I work through
challenges and competitions. (also a big backlog to publish too!)

Linux: I’m a big fan for both desktop and server! My main desktop runs Fedora with KDE, and my laptop runs Debian with XFCE.. As for my homelab and server stuff, you’ll have to check out what I get up to in projects!

Building things: small tools, scripts and side projects, which will end
up on the projects page. anything that grabs my interest or just to save some time!

Digital forensics + analysis I love trying to figure out how things work, how other people did things, so I naturally love a good bit of forensics + analysis for a ctf, reverse engingeering obscure things and even some malware now and again!

This project started with a pretty simple question:

How did some random person find my Minecraft server?

The Incident

This summer, I was playing Minecraft (java edition) with some friends on a server I was hosting from my desktop PC. Since I couldn’t port-forward on my network, I was using playit.gg to create a tunnel to the server. (My internet connection was provided through a 4G LTE modem, which made port forwarding impossible.)
